 INVITATION TO PRE-QUALILFY.

The Managing Director, H.P. State Cooperative Marketing and Consumer's Federation Ltd., on behalf of Himfed invites pre-qualification from firms/ contractors of repute registered with H.P. State Public Works Department/ Haryana State Public works Department or Central Public Works Department in the appropriate Class for the following work:-

1. Contractors who fulfil the following requirements shall be eligible to apply Joint ventures are not accepted.

• Should have satisfactorily completed three works in Central Govt., State Govt/Public Sector undertakings each cost Rs. 1.00 Crore or two works of 1.25 Crore or single work of Rs. 2.00 Crore (rounded off to nearest Rs. 10.00 Lacs) in the last 7 years ending 31st August, 2007. Certificate of work done issued by an officer below the rank of Executive Engineer shall not be accepted.
• Should have had average annual financial turnover of Rs. 75.0 Lacs on construction works during the last 3 years ending 31st March 2007.
• Should not have incurred any loss in more than 2 years during the last 5 years ending 31st March 2007.
• Should have a solvency of Rs. 1.00 Crore.

2. Desirous contractor's may obtain pre-qualification document on request in writing from the Managing Director Himfed on payment of Rs. 250/- in cash, upto 3.30 P.M. on 19th October, 2007or can down load from Himfed website www.himfed.com.

3. Application for pre-qualification supported by prescribed annexure should be submitted in sealed envelope duly superscribed with the name of work and due date of opening. The Application will be received upto 3.00 P.M. on 23rd October, 2007 and will be opened by the committee constituted in the office of Registrar, Cooperative, Societies, H.P. Shimla-9 on the same day at 3.30 PM. The intending contractor's/firms should mention their full Bio data, complete postal address and contact Number etc.. The list of works executed, Plant and Machinery available with the contractor be supplied on the prescribed Performa.

4. If any information furnished by the Applicant is found in correct at the later stage, he shall be liable to be debarred from tendering/taking up of work. The Himfed reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently.

5. The Himfed reserves the right to reject any prospective application without assigning any reason and to restrict the list of pre-qualified contractor's to any number deemed suitable by it, if too many applications are received satisfying the basis P.Q. criteria
